Personal Loss, So Close To Home

Sad news from Kashmir...

Kelu, my 2wells ministry partner in Kashmir, emailed me a few days ago that his special needs son Salman, passed away. He writes:

My son Salman is no longer in this world. He left this mortal world to his Lord. We pray that God will give us patience.

I met Salman in 2008 when I first met Kelu, and was touched by this sweet boy. Although facing extreme physical and mental challenges, Salman had a delightful smile and cheery disposition. My heart goes out Kelu, his wife, and his other son and daughter. May the Holy Spirit truly be their Comforter during this time.
